House Bill 3179 conditions a driver's license on a student's school attendance. Students under 18 could lose their driver's license if a school official or law enforcement officer notifies the Department of Transportation that the student has not attended 20 consecutive days of school.
HSLDA does not support laws that link driver's licenses to school attendance.
