House Bill 282: Raises Compulsory School Attendance Age from 17 to 18

Summary:

This bill would increase the compulsory attendance age from 17 to 18. A child turning 18 during the school year would be required to continue attendance until the end of the year.

HSLDA opposes any expansion of state control over education.
