House Bill 2793 exempts children who have completed the 10th grade and are attending an institution of higher education, a career or technical school, or are employed as an apprentice.
HSLDA believes that parents know best how to guide their child’s education. HB 2793 will give parents additional options in determining with their child what is the best option for their education.See "Compulsory Attendance" in HSLDA's Issues Library for more information.
