House Bill 2290: Discourages Implementation of the Common Core Standards
Sponsors:
Representative Spivey
Summary:

This is a companion bill to Senate Bill 2057. It would require the Department of Education to reimburse LEAs for all costs incurred in implementing the Common Core State Standards. This is not an appropriations bill to authorize expenditure of state funds. It appears to be an effort to discourage implementation of the standards.
