House Bill 2235: An Act Relative to the Reinstatement of Parental Rights

House Bill 2235 would allow children taken from their parents to petition the court "to reinstate in full the parental rights of one or both of the child's former parents" if the child "has not been adopted within two years" and the court has determined that "adoption is no longer the permanency plan."
