House Bill 219: Establishes a Pre-College Readiness Assessment Program
Sponsors:
Representative Scott
Summary:

This bill would create pre-college assessments for public school students to determine their readiness to attend college without having to take remedial courses. Even though homeschool students would not be included in the testing, the results of these tests might be used by colleges to determine admission of all applicants. This would effectively require homeschoolers to take the tests if they are seeking admission to a state college or university.
