House Bill 2181: Applies the "Best Interest of the Child" Standard to Parental Rights

Summary:

This bill would apply the “best interest of the child” standard to parental rights. This standard should not be applied to fit parents in an intact family. This is the standard that the U.N. Treaty on the Rights of the Child would impose on all families in every circumstance, something HSLDA strongly opposes.
