This bill establishes an "Evaluation Council" for the Common Core and lays out a list of the individuals that it shall be composed of. The Board of Education will provide the council with a report that will compare the Common Core standards with the statewide content standards.
Before the council's findings are issued, at least one public meeting will be held in several cities (listed in the bill). The report will be sent to the governor no later than December 1, 2015.
