House Bill 1165: Establishes Immunization Information Database

Summary:

This bill would require the State Department of Health to establish an immunization information system to receive and retain data on all adult and child immunizations "and other information as may be designated by the department."

HSLDA's Position:

This type of carte blanche authority for the gathering of personal information creates the potential for abuse and invasion of the privacy rights of citizens. This bill should be opposed.
