House Bill 1152: Expedited Hearing in Investigations of Child Abuse or Neglect

House Bill 1152 gives parents a right to an expedited hearing and expedited appeal if the Department of Family and Protective Services determines that a child should be removed from the home because of an immediate danger. The Department already has this right; this bill will protect parental rights by shortening the time parents have for a hearing if CPS wants to remove their children.
