House Bill 1061: Applies "Best Interest of the Child" Standard in Grandparent Visitation Cases

Summary:

This bill would appear to grant visitation to a grandparent of a child in any circumstance if the court determined that it was in the best interest of the child. The “best interest of the child” standard should not be applied in grandparent visitation cases against the wishes of a fit parent.
