Assembly Bill 267: Requires Districts to Allow Homeschool Students to Participate in Extracurriculars

Summary:

This bill gives homeschool students the right to participate in public school-sponsored extracurricular activities provided that the students (1) provide proof of district residence, (2) meet eligibility and try out for participation, (3) obey the rules and regulations of the governing board.
