12/20/2010 (9PM EST): Understanding Macroeconomics—A Life Skill
If your high school student has listened to the news lately, he’s heard about unemployment rates, inflation rates, interest rates, consumer confidence, and consumer spending (just to name a few). Do you want your teen to have a better understanding of these issues? Economic concepts may seem unconnected to everyday life, but familiarity with them can better equip your student to understand his world and make informed decisions.
Join Amy Raybould to learn why a course in macroeconomics might be a good choice for your high school student, and also why your student might want to take the AP Macroeconomics exam. Amy is a business economics graduate from Liberty University and is pursuing her master’s degree in business administration. She is also the classroom teacher for PHC Prep’s AP Macroeconomics course. In “Understanding Macroeconomics—A Life Skill,” come and learn how studying macroeconomics can benefit your teen’s future!
