Farris, many other attorneys, and some of our Special Needs, High School, and Early Years coordinators, such as Dianne Craft, Vicki Bentley, Becky Cooke, and Diane Kummer.
David and Shirley Quine
Homeschooling pioneers David and Shirley Quine bring a wealth of experience to encourage those just starting out in the 21st century. The Quines began teaching their children at home in 1980 in Richardson, Texas.
Because curriculum was not readily available to homeschoolers in the early 1980’s, David wrote activities for his wife to use with their children. In 1984, they founded Cornerstone Curriculum. “From the very beginning,” explains David, “it was my objective to help parents teach their children to reason from a biblical world view. There is no higher calling for a mom and no greater responsibility for a dad.”
The Quines have authored many popular worldview curricula and are national speakers. They have nine children ranging in age from 33 to 17 years old.
“Excellent! What a great use of technology!” — Vera, NC
