E-vent Library
HSLDA's @home e-vent library is a collection of the recordings of all past live e-vents. We post recordings online a few business days after an e-vent goes live to allow you to listen to any previous e-vent at your convenience. To purchase a recording, simply click “Add To Cart” and proceed to the “Shopping Cart.” Access your recording under the “Purchase History” tab and watch as many times as you like for a period of 30 days! You will be able to pause, rewind, and fast-forward at your convenience.

“If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time.” How do you keep your children from aiming at nothing and instead help them set tangible, attainable, personal goals?
Drawing on his experience as the homeschooling father of seven, as a motivational speaker, and as a business manager, Alan Hudson answers this question as he shares strategies, principles, and advice to help you encourage your kids to live intentionally at any age. Whether you want to help your elementary student to get through her multiplication problems or your teen to raise money for an upcoming mission trip, the principles and practical tips in this @home e-vent will give you what you need to help your kids turn their dreams into actionable goals, accomplish those goals, and reach their God-given potential.

In times of economic hardship, it’s more important than ever that our kids know how best to present themselves in the job hunt. As a businessman who’s held several managerial positions (including his present position as a marketing manager), Alan Hudson understands the importance of outside work experience, creating resumes, cultivating work and life skills, and marketing all this to prospective employers. As a homeschool father, Alan can identify with the various challenges that homeschooling parents face as they help their teenagers find employment outside the home. During this informative workshop, Alan will offer specific steps to help your high schoolers succeed in their future careers by preparing them now!
