E-vent Library
HSLDA's @home e-vent library is a collection of the recordings of all past live e-vents. We post recordings online a few business days after an e-vent goes live to allow you to listen to any previous e-vent at your convenience. To purchase a recording, simply click “Add To Cart” and proceed to the “Shopping Cart.” Access your recording under the “Purchase History” tab and watch as many times as you like for a period of 30 days! You will be able to pause, rewind, and fast-forward at your convenience.

How do you motivate a teen who lacks direction and discipline? What is the best way to help your child reach for a dream—and achieve it at a young age? Do you want to teach your children life skills that will help them be effective no matter where God takes them?
Melissa Hudson offers insight gleaned from her experience as a homeschooled student whose parents helped her develop her interests and take action at an early age. As a high schooler, she authored a motivational book for teens, lobbied for the pro-life cause at the United Nations, raised money for repeated mission trips, and spoke at seminars nationwide about her passion for inspiring teenagers. Catch Melissa’s enthusiasm as she discusses the valuable principles she learned from implementing her dreams! Now a college graduate and employed in the communications field, Melissa shares how you can successfully foster persistence, time management skills, mentoring, discernment, and godly attitudes in the lives of your children. Whether your kids are in elementary school or high school, Melissa’s practical insight will bring fresh perspective as you seek to maximize the God-given potential of each young life in your household.

“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose . . .” The changing season may be putting you in the Christmas mood—but it takes more than a little frost and the barrage of toys in the department stores to bring you the true Christmas spirit. How are you going to reinforce the real Christmas message this year? What do you do if your children are convinced that presents are the best part? Homeschool alumnae Kaylyn Carlson and Melissa Hudson have activities, discussion topics, and crafts to share—all provided with the goal of helping your children remember the One Child whom Christmas is all about. This is an e-vent you’ll want to bring your whole family to. Come prepared to relax, have fun, and be reminded of God’s great Gift to each and every one of us.
