At “such a time as this,” every moment counts... especially during the formative years of high school. With so many beneficial opportunities available, homeschooling parents need to be very wise in designing their students’ high school curriculum track. The challenge can be daunting. The problem is not that there is a shortage of choices, but, rather, that there is an over-abundance of good choices! Dr. James Stobaugh shows how to plan an educational curriculum that will make this time of life fruitful and productive for your high schoolers.

Dr. Robert Epstein’s research shows that many serious problems in American teens are due in large part to isolation from responsible adults. Public schools not only isolate teens from their families and the benefits of work, but they also trap teens with peers during most of their waking hours.
In this webinar, Dr. Epstein will discuss these issues, with special focus on the myth that schooling is important for "socialization."
"Peers are the last people on earth from whom teens should be learning," says Dr. Epstein. "Socialization needs to occur with people of all ages, and especially with responsible adults, and the kind of socialization that occurs in our schools, especially our middle and high schools, is often bizarre, driven mainly by the media and fashion industries."

Is there solid proof for the hope that we profess? Dr. Jay L. Wile proves that there is. In a systematic, step-by-step argument, Dr. Wile shares abundant evidence to support the validity of the Christian faith. Based on his book, Reasonable Faith: The Scientific Case for Christianity, Dr. Wile’s lecture first relates how the field of science provides an enormous amount of evidence for the Christian faith. Then, we discover how studies in historical and social science establish the Scriptures as the most reliable source of information regarding our Creator. Finally, Dr. Wile shows objective medical and historical evidence that indicates that the Bible, indeed, is the inspired Word of God. Dr. Wile’s compelling case for Christianity incorporates findings from such broad scientific disciplines as nuclear physics, chemistry, biology, archaeology, literary criticism, sociology, medicine, and historical science to give believers an increased confidence in the reality of Christianity.

Their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor! America's Founding Fathers were willing to sacrifice everything in order to establish “one nation under God” for following generations.
Two centuries later, America and her leaders seem to have strayed from the Biblical principles on which our nation was founded. Come and listen as historical writer Marilyn Boyer, author of For You They Signed, points the way back to the principles that made America great. Teach your children to put God first in their lives and reclaim our country's future by embracing the glory of her past!

In this fascinating lecture, Dr. Jay L. Wile investigates how rules and regulations found in the Old Testament have been substantiated by contemporary scientific knowledge. For example, Dr. Wile demonstrates how biblical commands regarding circumcision have been upheld by medical data discovered within the last 30 years. This instance, in addition to many others, provides evidence that the Bible addressed the danger of germs long before man realized the existence of disease, making the Bible the first document to contain modern sanitation conceptions. By showing that God’s Word contains knowledge considered “before its time,” Dr. Wile makes it clear that the Bible could not be a human fabrication.

For Christians to be engaged in cinema means working on very dangerous grounds theologically, morally, ethically, and vocationally. This workshop will present the vocational realities for homeschooling students and parents, specifically: 1. How to navigate through these grounds effectively without sacrificing your own walk in Christ; 2. Powerful new ways of making feature-length films using homeschooled talent, digital film technologies, grassroots marketing and distribution, and new business models; and 3. How to discover film resources in God’s economy, including raising funds, rallying cast, crew, and community.

Do you remember history in school as just a jumble of dates and unrelated facts? Or was it the story of God's redemption of the world? Some instructors are inadvertently teaching the philosophy of naturalism or deism through history. How can you teach history in such a way that your children will see the hand of God in and through it all? Join David Quine as he gives practical suggestions for teaching our children the Christian view of history.

Culture is religion externalized. When Christians fail to be engaged in cinema, we cede ground to the enemy. The result? Serial killers and madmen are lauded as role-models by Hollywood. Christians must create movies that are told from a biblical worldview and not a secular one. Learn how God is using pastors and homeschoolers to confound the “wise” and the world, as they lead this charge with movies like Fireproof, Facing the Giants, Come What May, and The Widow’s Might.

Teaching writing to middle and high school students can be an area of frustration for some home educators. Kathy Weitz will discuss the tried and true classical tradition of the Greek progymnasmata—a graduated series of exercises by which the students of antiquity were trained in the arts of writing and oratory. Throughout the past two thousand years, this method has produced many of the best thinkers, authors, and statesmen of the Western world.
Kathy is part of the Classical Writing team, a group of four homeschooling mothers who have integrated grammar, logic, and literature analysis with the progymnasmata in a unique homeschool curriculum. Students study these disciplines by analyzing and imitating history’s greatest writers. With outlines and step-by-step instructions for planning and editing compositions, teaching writing can be a manageable task—even for a homeschooling parent with limited writing expertise.
Tune in to this webinar for an overview of the entire Classical Writing curriculum, with a focus on writing instruction for middle and high school students. After her lecture, Kathy will take your specific questions for teaching classical writing in your homeschool.

What did God mean in Job 12:7-10 when he instructed man to “ask the beasts”? Dr. Jay L. Wile believes this imperative means Christians must study nature to fully appreciate the greatness of God. In this thoughtful lecture, he explores the complementary relationship between God’s divine revelation in the Bible and His general revelation in nature. Dr. Wile shares examples of great scientists of the past who considered their profession a means of discovering the nature of God. He draws from the fields of astronomy, microbiology, zoology, and botany to demonstrate how understanding science helps us understand God.
