Senate Bill 629: West Virginia Religious Freedom Restoration Act

Summary:
This bill would prohibit the government of West Virginia from substantially burdening a person’s exercise of religion, except in situations where the burden is essential to furthering a compelling governmental interest and is the least restrictive means of furthering that interest.
