Assembly Bill 870: Exempting Virtual Schools from Teacher Certification

Summary:
Under current law, Wisconsin allows charter schools. This bill would expand charter schools to include virtual charter schools by (1) allowing teachers who are not certified to teach and (2) allowing students not within the district to enroll.
