House Resolution 4676: Honoring and Celebrating Home-Educating Families

Summary:
The purpose of this resolution was to honor families who are teaching their children at home and thank them for their dedication to education.

The resolution acknowledged the critical importance of parental involvement in a child's education and character development. H.R. 4676 also pointed out that children who are educated at home score exceptionally well on nationally normed achievement tests. Additionally, the resolution mentioned several notable Americans who were taught at home.

This resolution passed the House.
