Summary:
This bill would require all persons under 18 to pass a Washington Assessment of Student Learning or comparable assessment in order to obtain a driver's license. This would specifically require homeschool students to take these tests which are based on the public school curriculum.

This bill had its first reading on February 5, 2003, and is currently in the Education Committee.
