House Bill 1588: Opens PSAT and AP Examinations to Homeschoolers

Summary:
H.B. 1588 was passed and signed by the Governor. It will go into effect July 1, 2006. If a public school requires a fee for the AP or PSAT test, it should not be greater than the actual cost of the test.

The bill requires that school boards implement a plan to make PSAT and AP examinations available to students receiving home instructions.
