House Bill 242: Kindergarten Amendments

Summary:
House Bill 242 modifies the age at which a child may be enrolled in kindergarten. If passed, H.B. 242 would allow children who are 5 years old before July 1 of that year to be enrolled. The current 5-year-old cutoff date is September 2.
