House Bill 890: Creation of Statewide Student Tracking System
Rep. David Leibowitz (District 117)
This bill would require the state commissioner of education to create a student tracking system covering all districts in the state. The system would track information such as enrollment and attendance, academic achievement, reasons for leaving school, and other demographics. There is no exemption for private school students, so they would also be included in the system.
HSLDA is opposed to this bill.
