Senate Bill 3924: Requiring Pre-Kindergarten of Homeschoolers

Summary:
This bill would require local school districts to provide pre-kindergarten programs for 4-year-olds unless the child is in a private or homeschool pre-kindergarten program. This would effectively require homeschooling families to comply with the homeschool law two years earlier than now required. This is a companion bill to H.B. 4036.
