Senate Bill 1958: An Act Regarding Vaccination Requirements

Author:
Senators Raymond Finney, Tim Burchett, Jim Tracy, Bill Ketron, Rusty Crowe, Bo Watson, Randy McNally, Mark Norris, Paul Stanley, Mae Beavers, and Steve Southerland.

Summary:
This bill would prohibit mandatory vaccination of girls and women for a sexually transmitted disease unless authorized by the Tennessee General Assembly. This is a companion bill to House Bill 1580.

2/15/2007Introduced and first consideration
2/21/2007Second consideration and referred to the Special Committee on General Welfare, Health, and Human resources.
