House Bill 2321: Removal of Homeschool Discrimination from HOPE Scholarship

Summary:
Current law discriminates against homeschool graduates by requiring them to achieve an ACT score of 23 or an SAT score of 1060 in order to be eligible for a HOPE scholarship. Public school students are required to have either an ACT score of 19 or a SAT score of 890. This bill would require homeschool students to attain the same scores as public school students.
