House Bill 475: College Scholarships for Homeschoolers
Rep. Les Winningham (D-38th District)
This bill would create college scholarships from lottery money. Homeschool students would be included in the program but would have to wait until completion of the freshman year of college before receiving the funds retroactively. Other students would receive the scholarship funds at the beginning of their freshman year. This is a companion bill to SB 144.
