House Bill 3764: An Act Regarding Criminal Acts by Teachers Against Students

Authors:
Representatives Allen, F.N. Smith, Duncan, Mitchell, Davenport, Govan, Bales, Clyburn, Hosey, Ott and Talley.

Summary:
This bill creates criminal penalties for school officials, including certain homeschool operators who engage in criminal sexual conduct with a child. This bill is similar to House Bill 3715.

3/21/2007(House) Introduced, first reading, and referred to the House Judiciary Committee
6/5/2008Legislation died when the Senate adjourned sine die
