House Bill 3187: An Act Creating South Carolina Virtual Schools

Summary:
This bill would have created the “South Carolina Virtual School Program,” whereby public, private, and home school students could earn credits online. Unlike public school students, private and home school students would not be awarded a high school diploma from the state after completing the online courses. This legislation should be monitored
