Senate Bill 72: School Attendance as a Condition to Obtaining a Driver’s License

Summary:
This was a driver’s license bill which would have required school attendance, a diploma, or GED for persons under 17 who seek a driver’s license. Homeschool associations would been involved in developing a form to show the DMV the students’ enrollment status. Also, the homeschool association would have to provide students in the association with information about this law every year.
