House Bill 7384: Bill Would Lower Compulsory Attendance to Age 5

Summary:
This bill would lower the age of compulsory attendance from age 6 to 5 and would require every child to attend a recognized or accredited kindergarten program prior to first grade.

03/22/2006 (House): The Committee voted to “hold the bill for further study.”
