Summary:
This bill would have increased the state-required health and dental services for all students, including those in a home education program. Medical exams are now required upon entry into school and in grades 6 and 11. This bill would have required such exams upon entry into school and in grades 5, 8, and 11. Dental exams are now required upon entry into school and in grades 3 and 7. This bill would have added grade 10.
