House Bill 2996: Teaching License Required for any Paid Instructor Author: Summary: The main impact to homeschool families is that the bill would require any person who is paid to provide instruction to a child in kindergarten to 12th grade would have to have a teaching license. Therefore, a homeschool parent teaching a history class to their child and several other homeschool students once a week would be required to get a teaching license if they were paid any amount of money.
