SB 350: Additional Expansions to the Authority of a Court in Truancy Cases

Summary:
This bill would expand the authority of the court in truancy cases to require parents to attend state parenting classes and classes providing information on the importance of educating a child. The court could also require psychological treatment, and testing of the child, and tutoring.
Status:
This bill was introduced on January 24, 2003 and has been referred to the Senate President's desk.
