House Bill 2439: Increases Child Labor Restrictions

Summary:
Oklahoma law currently provides regulations on employment for those under 16 years of age. Regulations include a maximum of three hours of employment in a school day and a maximum of 18 hours of work per week when school is in session. This bill would make these regulations apply to those under the age of 18, thus increasing the regulations for another two years.
