Senate Bill 303: Improves Immunization Exemption
Sponsored by Senator Padavan
This bill would have removed the requirement that a religious belief be “genuine and sincere” in order to claim an exemption from immunization. This would have made it easier for parents to claim a religious exemption from immunizations. This bill was identical to Assembly Bill 883.
|01/12/2005||Referred to Senate Committee on Health.|
|06/24/2005||Assembly adjourned and is at the call of the Majority Leader. (Likely closed for the rest of the year).|
|06/23/2006||Legislature is Closed.|
Since this bill was not reported from a standing committee, the Committee on Health, it will be reintroduced in January, 2006.
This bill is supported.
No action is necessary at this time.
