Among other things, this bill would have authorized social workers to remove a child from home without a court order.

This bill was introduced on January 29, 2003, and was in the Committee of Children and Families.
While the first year of the 2003-2004 session of the New York legislature ended June 20, 2003, this bill could be re-introduced in January of 2004.
