Summary:
This bill would have required clear and convincing evidence that there was an imminent risk to a child's life, health or welfare or that the child may be subject to sexual abuse before a child could be removed from the home.
Status:
This bill was introduced on January 22, 2003, and placed in the Assembly Committee on Children and Families.
While the first year of the 2003-2004 session of the New York legislature ended June 20, 2003, this bill could be re-introduced in January of 2004.
