Summary:
This bill would provide a tax deduction of $3,500 for each child that is registered as a homeschool student during the entire school year that ends during the taxable year.

HSLDA's Position:
Support. This bill would help homeschool families financially without subjecting them to the regulations that often accompany direct government handouts. This bill has been amended to remove objectionable language.
