This bill would create a tax credit for pre kindergarten students taught at home by a parent using a curriculum presented to and approved by the public education department.

HSLDA's Position:
Opposed. HSLDA has successfully fought the regulation of home education through direct government control. We also oppose the regulation of home education through indirect means, which includes using tax money to pay for state approved curricula.
