Legislative Bill 549: Change Provisions Relating to Schools

Summary:
Among other things, L.B. 549 would require parents of homeschool students to provide the student’s birth certificate or other reliable proof of the student’s identity and age to the Commissioner of Education “upon enrollment” instead of by October 1.
