Senate Bill 2001: An Act Deleting Parental Withdrawal Provisions from Kindergarten

Summary:
This bill would delete the provision of state law permitting a parent to withdraw a child from public school kindergarten on a one-time basis. Parents are in the best position to determine when a child is ready for formal education. This bill is now dead.
