Summary:
This bill would mandate vaccination against the human papillomavirus (HPV) for all female students by sixth grade. Home instruction programs are exempt only if there are 10 or fewer children in the family. HSLDA believes that parents, not the state, should make immunization decisions in consultation with medical professionals. This bill is now dead.
