Senate Bill 2915 An Act Enacting Federal CAPTA Provisions

Summary:
This bill partially complies with the federal CAPTA law by requiring that the person being investigated for child abuse or neglect be informed at the initial contact of the allegations made against him. This bill does not fulfill the CAPTA requirements that social workers be trained in how to protect the constitutional rights of families they are investigating.
