Senate Bill 2232: An Act Lowering the Compulsory Attendance Age

Summary:
Among other things, this bill would have lowered the compulsory attendance age so that a child becoming 6 by January 1 of the school year would have to attend school. This would have meant that all five-year-olds would have had to attend school if they turn 6 by January 1.
