House Bill 505: An Act Limiting Withdrawal from Public School

Summary:

This bill would have deleted language from current law permitting a parent to withdraw a child who is under 6 years old from kindergarten. HSLDA believes that parents should continue to be able to make this educational decision for children under 6. This was the companion bill to Senate Bill 2393.
