Summary:
This bill relates to Mississippi Resident Tuition Grants for students. It would have changed current law to provide that the full cost of tuition would be paid for students who have a 3.0 grade point average after seven semesters as certified by the high school counselor or other authorized official. This bill appears to have left out students in a home instruction program. It should have been amended to include homeschooled students in these benefits.
