House Bill 218: An Act Relating to Drivers' Licenses

Summary:
HB 218 would create new requirements for students to meet in order to receive a driver's license. All students, including homeschool students, would have to maintain a 1.75 GPA or better, maintain attendance in school, and have the parents verify the homeschool status of the child. Bill died in committee when the legislature adjourned.
