House Bill 982: Option for Compulsory Attendance and Work Certificate

Summary:
Allows parents or legal guardians of 16 to 18 yr olds to opt to have the compulsory school attendance and work certificate laws apply to their children. Also creates very broad religious exemption, and graduation exemption. The bill died because it was not acted upon before the legislative session ended.
